I have lived in the Ithaca area since 1973 and have received degrees form Cornell University and Elmira College. During the school year, I teach middle-senior high school art in an alternative, democratically run public school. Making the environment a place where art can be created gives the students and me the possibility to communicate and interact about ongoing works in progress.

My work, which has included oils, graphite, ceramics and photography, has been seen both locally and in galleries from New York City to Maryland since 1985. I have been involved in competitions/exhibitions and won cash awards and certificates.

Recently, my main focus has been to exhibit in regional galleries and venues in both one person and group shows. I continue to have at least one exhibit a year, showing mainly oil paintings, which is the art form that pumps through my veins the loudest.

If you are interested in purchasing any of my works or displaying my images in your gallery space, please contact me for further information.
